As far as I remember, Chelsea always spent a lot of money to buy new players every season. I am also a Chelsea fan and I hope the new coach will bring something positive to the team. If you look at the squad for next season, I think Manchester City and Arsenal are still the favorites to win. United have retained Ten Hag and they will rebuild their squad. I don't know how Liverpool will perform with the new coach and so far I don't know how their transfers will go in this transfer market. So I hope that Chelsea can get a position in the Champions League next season.
In the Premier League, it is always difficult to make predictions about which team will be better in each season, including next season, because even though Chelsea are always more active in the transfer market this time, it does not mean that other teams will be worse next season, such as Liverpool and also others. Because Manchester United and Liverpool and Arsenal will continue to try to appear consistently more dominant next season even though Liverpool will be handled by a new coach like the Chelsea team too.
The English Premier League is a tournament where every team has the ability to beat every other team. Other leagues like La Liga we can make predictions easily because there is one team ahead of all the other teams and naturally that team is supposed to be the champion but in English Premier League not only one team is strong but most of the teams are strong and most of the teams compete hard with each other. Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Aston Villa, Manchester United, Chelsea are some of the favorites and these teams have a good chance of doing well every season. It goes without saying that the English Premier League last season ended with a tough competition and it will be the same next season.
I agree with you that premier league teams can not be underrated or underestimated, every team in the English premiership is a threat to each other and gaming pattern can change at any given time, one thing is for sure that English premier League requires strength, tactics and experience to be at the top, the league is a very difficult and competitive league for any team to scale through, most times thing that help Manchester city is experience and good players that are available in the team without this facts it would have been a disaster for them but even with all this good qualities they still lose to unsuspected teams, the struggle for survival exist much in the English premier League, for me, the game of soccer is taken more serious in this legaue than any other league in the world. I wouldn't predict how next season will end but the teams you mentioned are more likely to perform well but we can never tell what will happen next season, I somuch remember when Leicester City lifted the trophy know one expected such to happen during that season and it happened, so anything is possible in this coming season too.
