If Arne Slot does not have good experience in coaching, it will be difficult for him to maintain the standard of the team the way Klopp left it because the club will be too big for him to manage those players. In the beginning we might not see it because the players already have a game pattern that the are used to which Klopp taught them. It will survive them next season but as time goes on Arne Slot will not be able to get good results because it is not from him.
On the other hand, he might learn as he is coaching them and improve his knowledge on how to improve the team performance. It will be a difficult task for him next season but let's see what he gat.
First of all this players are professionals and not just any professional but top professionals for that matter who know that they don’t longer have their favorite manager around again and that the new manager needs their full support to able to make a difference. The club on the other will also try to have their resources down to assist the manager on achieving his lay down rules but with also the believe that the success isn’t going to come very fast like that as their is going to be change.
I think Arne Slot will most likely not change too much of a playing pattern that Klopp has deployed with the team in the past because he himself plays the aggressive attacking style of football at his time in Feynoord. The only thing will be the commitment that the players will give him. Some players play their hearts out depending on the man in charge but other than that the Merseyside club will not be much of a task too much for Arne Slot but they can’t just stay to challenge for the EPL straight away
I don’t get the point of
If Arne Slot does not have good experience in coaching
- of course he does, and if he didn’t, he wouldn’t have been brought into Liverpool in the very first place. Michael Edwards is one of the best if not the best English sporting director, and he won’t sign someone without any potential to be a great coach. Feyenoord under Arne won the Dutch title, took them to the Europa Conference final. He knows how to set up a team and play electric football. He knows how to adapt the players into his system, and he’s definitely not someone who needs very specific system players because if you look at Feyenoord, you’ll see how many players could change their roles and still play their hearts out.
Klopp is one of the greatest managers of all time, and replacing him is difficult for everyone. The players need to get behind him and do everything that they are instructed to. Arne Slot’s approach is very exciting and the Premier League will be very exciting with his presence.
