Well, previously Liverpool was the only team interested in signing Antony Gordon but unfortunately the Reds were unable to pay the fee desired by Newcastle and it seemed that these negotiations were considered complete. Now it's Manchester City's turn to get the services of this 23 year old player and it looks like Manchester City has no problems being able to get him easily.
If I'm not mistaken, the fee that Newcastle wants for Antony Gordon is around 55 million euros and I don't think that kind of money is a problem for Manchester City. Moreover, a pure right winger is not yet fully available in Manchester City so he could be the right solution for The Cityzen. Let's see whether this agreement can be reached or not and this will make the depth of Manchester City's squad even more dangerous.
Actually Anthony Gordon moving to Manchester city is not going to happen in my own opinion because pep guardiola is a manager that has always wanted his wingers to be extra technically gifted, and Anthony Gordon doesn't falls into that category, though he is quite good no disrespect, but he doesn't have the desired quality to play for Manchester city, and I believe that pep guardiola wouldn't chase this particular deal, even though he is in need of a winger.
So I think that he is more likely to stay put at Newcastle united, because if he is that good as the English press made him looks like with their continues hyping, 60million euros would be too small for such a player, it's because he is an average player, that is why 60 million euros looks like a whole lot of money in the eyes of the clubs that has interest in him.
And Liverpool would not spend so much on him either, because they mostly feels like he is not up to the 60 million euros that is being demanded by Newcastle united, because he is an average player.
