In the last two seasons, there have always been unexpected surprises in the Europa League, including what happened last season where Atalanta surprisingly managed to become champions in the Europa League and were also able to beat Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen, who were favorites to win last season. And for next season I also think there will be even more surprises that will happen to the teams that are not favorites to win the championship. Because teams that are not favorites to become champions and are not discussed much by the media will continue to improve their performance to be able to beat all the favorite teams.
Interestingly in recent years no team have consistently won the Europa several times in a row, the fact that the Europa keeps coming with surprises especially with who turns out to be the champions is one thing that keeps it really lively and interesting, the Europa is now even more competitive then some of the domestic leagues in Europe, defeating Liverpool and Leverkusen by Atlanta happens to be one of the highlights of the Europa league last season.
The UEFA Europa League is almost like the Champions League. This league has very competitive competition because there are many selected clubs with strong performances from other leagues, so it is very natural that the title winners are different every season, nothing is consistent. But there are still several clubs that win the title the most, like Sevilla in the European League and Real Madrid in the Champions League, even though they have the most titles, does not guarantee that they can win the title again in the following season.
Even so, I always hope for surprises every season, like Atalanta last season, even though most people don't pay much attention to them, but was able to produce impressive results and beat the favorite club(Leverkusen) at that time making the league very interesting and making the European League more difficult to predict.
Sevilla will be in Europa league next season and they have the experience of winning this league than any other club but I don't think that they can win the trophy next season because we might see some clubs that are in their super form better than Sevilla who will come out with surprises just like last season.
Europa League is the second European big competition and clubs that was not able to qualify for the champions league but their performance was good and for that reason they were on the 5th and 6th position on the table are the ones to represent their club in this competition making it a tough one.
