The uncertainty in Liverpool is huge because of the exit of Klopp. I will not be surprised their transfer targets are choosing other clubs because it is looking like Liverpool may slide into an average team next season and players would want to go to club that have a chance at the title and other competitions. It is their career we are talking about so it is understandable.
I don't really know the targets and plans of the management of Liverpool but I hope their decisions did not confirm the fears of many. They are not willing to spend big and that is a sign that they may be ready to accept whatever next season throws at them.
For me Liverpool is a team that Jurgen Klopp has took his time to build very well and of not for the challenges he faced in winning more trophies for the club, he really did great job for the Liverpool team but his inability to win trophies in the premier League was because of Pep Guardiola's influence in Manchester City of not Klopp is among the best managers in the world. Despite Klopp leaving Liverpool I don't think it will make any negative changes to the team, I assume they will still continue in their best performance with their new head coach Arne Slot. Hopefully they will also Excel under Slot. Even though Liverpool hasn't made any good signing but the club can maintain the squad they have and still make a difference next season so their inability to buy new players should not imply they will underperform next season as they already have a good team. They can still achieve the top four positions next season if they are not capable of winning the Premier League so they still have all it takes to maintain a good form next season.
