It seems they have an online chat on SimpleX they confirmed my request after a day of waiting to be connected to them the only problem is they don't reply maybe because my message is not very important.
I just tried it and i can access both clearnet and onion. Although i did that 50 minutes after you write that reply.
The clearnet is accessible on my side to both of them onion and clearnet. I think the reasons why the clearnet is down recently might be because of the recent cloudflare maintainance.
