But people should always discern from themselves what's "motivation" and what's addiction. If a person who has been "day-trading" for five years, and still continues to lose his/her monthly salary to the market, then is that truly motivation or an addiction towards gambling his/her salary/savings in crypto? I believe that a normal person would have a point of acceptance that he/she can't trade and would stop such behavior.
5 years would really be just that too long before you would really be that deciding to quit or change career because we do know that on the moment that you do find out that you aren't that profitable no matter what you do then it would be impossible that you won't really be thinking about quitting but somehow each person does have their own threshold when it comes to risks taking or simply the tolerance.

If you do found yourself not already that effective anymore in terms of trading, then why you would really be that making yourself forcing about such manner or condition? There are really indeed things in life that no matter how hard we do try but still ending up on having that negative results on which we know that it could really happen to anyone, therefore then it won't really be that a not bad idea for you to quit or change career.
It is very true that five years is certainly a very long time to survive if the results we can get are very unfavorable and if anyone can survive that far of course this will be very detrimental to them if they don't really correct every failure and mistake they make.
If indeed we have tried our best for this and still fail, of course this is a sign that what we are doing is not suitable for us and I agree with you to look for other things that can benefit from what we are doing.
