I'm surprised with the report that up to three top Italian teams wants the services of Romelu Lukaku for next season because I was thinking his time in playing for any club in the top five leagues in Europe must have been over after his performances of last season with AS Roma. Antonio Conte is one manager that's very experienced and he doesn't go for any player he's not sure of his quality so for him to demand his new club management brings Romelu Lukaku to the club this summer strongly suggests that he's still seeing big prospects in the Belgian. Chelsea is reported to be interested in Napoli striker Romelu Lukaku and now that the Italian club also wants their own player, I think a swap deal that'll see both players move to opposite direction wouldn't be a bad idea. Victor Osimhen is younger and have a better market value but if agreement is reached between the two clubs, Chelsea will not have to pay Osimhen's complete buy-out fee since their player will move to opposite direction.
Lukaku is not too bad and he still deserves to play in Serie A. Antonio Conte may have his reasons and he has also worked with him before. Yes, bartering might be an ideal option between Napoli and Chelsea, because both teams need the services of both players. Conte also doesn't seem to be too worried if Osimhen chooses to leave because the Italian doesn't want to be trapped by his privileged attitude. I'm sure Conte has prepared a thorough plan and he will first focus on overhauling the defense, because that position was very risky before.
