Chelsea getting a huge cash injection is not going to "solve" anything for them. Lets be real, they do not have a bad team anyway, and they got a good manager, that is not the problem and money certainly isn't because they have some awesome players they bought as well, overpaid mostly too.
The issue they have is that they are not a "team", like if anyone thinks that City has the best team in the world, or at least in this league, has no idea about football, they have one of the best, but not better than everyone enough to win it four in a row. Why are they dominating then? Because they are a team, and being a team beats anything else in the world. Chelsea needs to learn to be a team, and if they do that, then sky is the limit for them, they have everything else ready.
So basically Chelsea looks like an individual who doesn't want to play as a club? I think this makes sense, especially since this club doesn't have a leader on the pitch to be able to reprimand its young players if they make mistakes or are too selfish. If this continues, the budget that has been spent on buying players will be wasted.
If we compare it with Manchester City, it seems too far, especially since The Citizen is very compact as a team and has the goal of winning the title every season. The tactical support led by Pep also really helped his team in handling a deadlock and that is a plus point that they have. I don't know what will happen to Chelsea next season with Enzo Maresca and if this new coach can unite Chelsea as a team then the problem has always been with the previous coach. Meanwhile, finding a leader requires a long process and this is a piece that they must complete.
This mindset thinking is already talked many times after Todd Boehly having control of this club, but things are not taking changes, and they are spending huge amounts which are also not helping this club for having things well under control he is creating things which are surely not going as they needed to be but now as we are having another change of coach and things are looking pretty easy for the Enzo Maresca to handle this all if he is going to be succeeded then we can blame former coach but if we have same problems and results then surely we need to be wait for the more disastrous time in this club.
Manchester City is complete different mindset which is now having good leadership which is motivating youngsters, and they are doing things as they need which are impressive teamwork and their strong strategy work Chelsea have few things which helps them for having things on better level otherwise they are going to have same level results and performance.
