As long as kids can play and are not required to submit KYC, they will continue playing on such platform. It won't matter what label you use for them, when kids can play on it, they will stay there.
Yes, kids don't care about anything when they don't have to submit KYC or any other details on those type of platforms. KYC can stop those kids but since there's no requirement to do any kind of KYC and that's why kids can do whatever they want without any fear.
Kids, and teenagers are quite naive in taking proper decisions because they want fun and entertainment in their life and earning money on those online casinos or just imagining that kind of earning could add enough fun in their lives, however they can get addicted to gambling and that can destroy their lives.
Frankly, the truth is that, everyone wants a remote job and always want to be a boss of our own and if we can be sincere with ourselves then you’ll realize that, gambling is one way we can earn a good life legally even as a teenager in a country like that of mine(not trying to paint the country bad but meh, gambling is already proving to be the hope of a common man in a country where government is already neglecting its citizens and automatically drag us to extreme backwardness.
I still maintain my point that, the casino has a very huge role to play in the regulation of underaged gambling and that’s if they will be very sincere with their KYC terms and policies.
While we are open to making those kids submit KYC in order to stop them from gambling, we the older men somehow are trying to avoid submitting KYC. Something is really wrong in this situation. We are just open to giving their information to a 3rd party, not even the government but a platform that might sell the database to another company. Maybe we need to ask yet whether making them submit KYC is worth doing while their future could be compromised because of the data.
A teenager will need to get money somewhere to constantly gamble, and I’m actually not against the fact that if there is a lot of interest, the teenager tries to play, so that he understands that it is very easy to lose money in gambling, perhaps this experience will be enough for him to understand that everything here is not as simple as it seems, that in addition to luck you need to have many other skills, without which there is nothing to do here. I doubt that from playing several times he will get some kind of addiction, but I believe that he will be able to understand that it is not for nothing that this activity is prohibited until adulthood.
If there are many good things that a teenager must learn about while growing up, learning how to save money, how to invest, and how to manage their financial lifestyle in order to grow their wealth is a very important aspect they need to learn. Gambling at a tender age can make them bad players in the area of financial management. Although some of them can still be cautioned by their parents, but some kids can really grow up to become addicted gamblers and face a difficult lifestyle because of their bad habits of gambling. I have witnessed a friend of mine in college who was really so addicted that he spends every money he gets on gambling.
That's also a good point. We learn all about financial management in school except managing gambling addiction, these students might just learn it easy when there are already addicts in school. They could have real testimonials from the addict themselves.
