Honestly, I am expecting Liverpool to lose form due to the exit of Klopp as ahead coach.it is not that they will drop significantly, but there will be a decline in performance because the new coach may not play the same pattern like that of Klopp was playing.but if new coach may decide to follow Klopp's pattern it may help, but may be a great help for them next season because it is pattern they are use to.
During the season when teams play match, don't you see that some training session are not that serious, this is because the team/squad are already used to how the coach teach them especially when it's a coach that has been with them for long, it's not everytime the coach will have to repeat things for them. If Arne Slot doesn't really change the squad, the team wouldn't lag that much due to the exit of Klopp.
In fact, since last season, we have been witnessing a decline in Liverpool's performance. As their form has started to decline, the new coach must work very hard before the team can pick up their great form again. From my perspective, if Liverpool can signed more quality players to strengthen the squad. However, without proper guidance, they may face an unexpected decline, similar to Chelsea.Changing the coach always brings changes to the team, either bad or good, but it is more likely to be bad in the coach's first season with the team. Nonetheless, I hope Liverpool experiences positive changes next season.
The decline wasn't because they weren't doing well, remember that Salah wasn't feeling too well due to his injuries because of the Afcon he went to represent Egypt and his team lost. When Klopp needed him, he wasn't fit to play and the team wasn't in good shape. Manchester City was on fire and they trash all the teams that comes to their way because they were ready to win the Premier League. I guess Liverpool weren't that desperate the way Manchester were else they would have push harder.
