Chelsea have everything but a solid mindset in them. The players are good, the wage structure is broken but at least the players are happy. But we have to keep in mind that a club does not fix itself from the ruins in just one or two seasons.
Chelsea lacks experience key players, the team lacks the drive/manners to take responsibilities quite often and that`s why even when they perform poorly, you can still see them not really bother by their performance while when they do well they just see any need for improvement. That`s why most times after they do well in a game and get a win they usually finds it difficult to get a draw or win in the next game.
I think for them to get back in the Big 6 status, Todd Boehly has to ensure more trust in the manager and the players and let them do their things. If they are given time, things will start going their way more often. The manager that they have right now is great and had a great season with Leicester. He needs to be given enough time, and they will return to who they were 2-3 years back.
If there are not good performance from the Chelsea team under Enzo Maresca, He should be sacked because it is not just about winning since this will show if there`s any hope of the team becoming better in the long run since even Potter did well in his charge of Brighton before his move to Chelsea.
