Eric Ten Hag was never a bad choice for Manchester United and when you check his stats so far he has been coaching Manchester United, he has performed above average and have won two trophies since given the position of the head coach. No criticism against him will make them sack him now. He has performed beyond average and that made his contract to be renewed. He is the best man for Manchester United and he will continue to be unless there is another person better which I’m yet to see that can handle the situation at Manchester United now.
Manchester United is better now than some seasons ago when we had other coach's taking care of Manchester United. Since Eric ten Hag became coach Manchester United the club may not really have achieved good position in EPL but it is very clear that Manchester united under ten Hag have won good trophy which is a great achievement. Ten Hag is a good coach , the problem with Manchester United is that it is very difficult for them to be consistent in their performance, sometimes the team plays very fine but ti maintain this pattern of playing is just the problem of Manchester United. Ten Hag is still a good coach for Manchester United that can still make good improvements for the team.
Ten Hag cannot be entirely blamed for Manchester United setback last season, his failure in the Champions League and Premier League certainly had a logical reason. One of them is player injuries, and in my opinion all managers will have difficulty meeting targets if faced with this problem. Another reason is that players such as Masont Mount, Sofyan Ambarat, Rasmus Hojlund, Onana failed to perform optimally in their first season. So it was very fortunate that when Ten Hag managed to lead Manchester United to beat Manchester City in the FA Cup final, everyone except Manchester United fans was shocked by the result of the match. However, Ten Hag still could not avoid harsh criticism even though he succeeded in presenting the FA Cup trophy, because finishing in 8th place in the Premier League standings was unacceptable, because statistically it was Manchester United worst finish in the last few decades.
