Real Madrid is very good at finding problems and creating a solution for them quickly. That is a reason why I was surprised to see that they had actually kept Joselu as the main striker of the squad for such a long time. But now it seems like they have fixed that problem. First of all, they already had Jude Bellingham who was performing so well for them and scoring a lot of goals as well. And now that they have Mbappé, they should not have a lot of problems. They are going to be very few teams who will actually be able to compete at the same level as Real Madrid in the upcoming season. And I am talking about the Champions League competition. In La Liga, they literally do not have any competition right now. Hope Manchester City and other big clubs will be able to do something against Real Madrid.
With Madrid it always appear that they do make plans both for the short and long term because they believe they need such a squad in other for them to be sure about winning trophies in long term but with some others, the case has usually been different that they just want results for a particular season. It's going to be rare for Madrid to really have challenges withthe thei games in the new season because they have got a whole lot of strength that's unmatched with that of others who would want to compete.
Not only Real Madrid but most of the popular clubs will do the same thing and what I know is that Real Madrid and other big clubs always have long-term plans to maintain performance without having to make changes every season which can result in inconsistent performance.
All LaLiga clubs or clubs from other leagues must do the same thing as Real Madrid, always bringing in new players and releasing players who are no longer productive in order to get contributions from these players in the longer term.
What Real Madrid did to release Joselu was already planned beforehand because management had been eyeing Mbappe for a long time and this season succeeded in bringing in this professional player and releasing Joselu.
This effort is being made for the club's future to remain ready to compete with other clubs in the Champions League.
