Do you think parents should have a limit on the amount they can invest in their children?
Anyway, investing in the education of children is not waste but what is important now is the area of education or field of education. The problem is that father's then focus only on formal education and forget the informal type of education. They treat the skill acquisition education with disdain and so when a student graduates without a job, he or she can't further support the family whose hope would become the contrary and they become dependent again which leads to frustration to the family. So it is a lesson to learn so that the child will be balanced both in academics and craftsmanship. Also, another point to note is the area of the formal education. Like there are courses that you would consider irrelevant in modern day society but venturing into technology / digital technology and stuffs in blockchain then you can be sure to be relevant in the society. It is your relevance that opens access to jobs. However, different government have not been proactive in job creation and enabling of independent businesses.
