They sign good players and have a team that can actually accomplish a lot but if you look at things from an angle you will see that some of these players are yet to adapt to the new system but the major thing affecting them is a good coach to manage them properly. I know their major problem is a good coach and i believe Maresca will be able to bring out the best in them, i don’t know if he can do it in a season but i know he will be able to take Chelsea to victory some day if he is given enough time. With the strategy the owner are trying to use of signing younger players i think they are willing to give the coach enough time to develop these young players. New players will still be added so the coach will have a lot of players to work with.
I agree with some of your submissions because no matter how good a player was in his former team, he will definitely need some time to adapt to the style of play in the new club that he joins. Some of these players finds it hard to adapt to the new system, not because they are not good but sometimes the issue is from the couch who can not make use good of them to make them adapt as quickly as possible.
By the way, I emboldened your last statement in your thread because it's not very clear to me. Chelsea already have players that can even make up another first XI as a team but you can not see the result of their population. Chelsea squad is a perfect example of quantity over quality. There is no need to sign up new players to come and occupy the bench when they have enough already. It's not a good strategy to revive a sinking club, they only need a striker who's hungry for goals.
