Eric Ten Hag is a coach that most teams will like to have in their club, his presence in Manchester United hasn’t been that bad and has won in every season a trophy. He just haven’t been able to make it to the top of the premier league fight to be a major contender in the league. But his success and how the Manchester United team have farewell at the end of every season speaks well of his performance. He will missed if he leaves now, I still him with the potential of making it this season and finish the league on a higher note than last season.
If judging his performance will be only by trophies then it will be a really incomplete judgement because even other teams who didn't win trophies still had very good performance such that their coaches were seen as been good enough, moreover, the trophies won aren't such that can be seen as really been elite trophies, champions League and premier League are top trophies expected of him trying win but he haas not been able to really get any of those so for me he's not winning such a big dewl a trophy because we expected more of him goiig by the kind of quality we had assumed he's got.
If you try to judge Erik ten Hag's performance as a Manchester United manager, I think you might be confused by the the fact that he's won two trophies in two seasons with the club which i think isn't that too bad for a club that's been struggling since 2013 that Sir Alex Ferguson left but when you look at how the club have performed generally under the Dutch manager, you'll definitely come to conclusion that Erik ten Hag haven't been a good coach for the club. Personally, I was surprised that he wasn't sacked by the club after his performance of last season but since the club management have faith in him, I hope he delivers at the end.
Next season, Manchester United will play in the UEFA Europa League competition so he has the chance of winning a European trophy for the club again but the big question is will he be able to utilize the opportunity this time? We keep our fingers crossed and see what happens
