I grew up in terror of my dad because his concept of raising children, especially I, was beating me up. I was always scared whenever he came bck from work. I hid from him as much as I could. I remember even colliding with and hitting my head on a tree in the garden one day I wanted to run from him. Until this day, I'm yet to understand the reason why I had such a turbulent childhood. Do parents treat some children that way because they never wanted children or because they just don't like that child? What could make a parent seem not to like their child? Just curious. Unwanted pregnancy? I'm note even the first.
