I don't blame those gamblers that go for cash out because they don't want to jeopardize with the little profit that have already and that is the important thing since because it is only what you are sure of. The other huge amount that will make you not cash out but love to see the end of your bet is not certain because one of the game might cut the bet and you lose it all.
As long as you are happy with your decision, that should already satisfy you. For regular gamblers, experiencing losses and winnings on a regular basis is expected, so we already know what to do when it comes to the timing of stopping, whether in profit or in losing. Actually, since losing is just normal, it should not hurt us because we already anticipated that. However, if we win and don't stop because of greediness, that will leave a huge regret in our hearts and eventually make us problematic gamblers.
That's why some gamblers get addicted: they don't recognize the risk and don't manage it properly. If we only manage it, we should be able to enjoy gambling for the long run, even if we have more losses than winnings.
