Tuchel has tried to maintain Munich's position last season but he failed to make Munich win the Bundesliga trophy last season even without any trophy, what you say is true that this is the Bundesliga which is not the same as other leagues, so it is not good to underestimate the ability of the new coach who has been chosen by the Munich management, maybe for some people the choice of Kompany was not right or too fast so it might be detrimental to this team next season, but we can see the process in the next season, I am sure Kompany is able to make a new breakthrough and game which is not boring so that this team can dominate the Bundesliga again next season. all fans have to watch the process later and be patient for it. 
Coming to early conclusion about Kompany as the new head coach of Bayern Munich is not right to me and he should have at least been given some time to prove himself whether worthy or not worthy of that position. It’s alright if he’s seen as a coach that the team looks so big for him to manage at this point of his career but that doesn’t mean he can’t do it when he has not even tried yet. He will be at his best and he will try everything possible to make Bayern Munich triumph in the Bundesliga next season ahead of others because they failed to in last season, so this is what the management wants from him now. I haven’t seen anything bad in this choice until the next season begins and see what he’s able to do for the team with his technique of coaching.
