Argentina are favorites in the final and I admit that's true. The match which will take place in a few hours is basically expected to be the best match until the end, but I am not underestimating Colombia at all. Whatever it is, Colombia is one of the best in the 2024 Copa America, so no one can underestimate them in the final even if Argentina is the favorite. I'm curious whether Colombia can force Argentina to play until the penalty shootout or not, if that happens then Colombia could possibly create history.
Spain awaits Argentina in the Finalissima if they can beat Colombia. It will be a chance to see the young Lamin Yamal play against Lionel Messi before Messi stops playing international football.
Alvarez, starting with Lionel Messi increases Argentina's chances because Messi has good understanding with him, and is constantly creating chances for Alvarez to score.
The Messi and Alvarez pairing is far more promising than the Messi pairing with Lautaro Martinez.
That will be amazing if this happens but I do have a feeling we won't get what we want and Columbia might ruin everyone dreams by actually lifting the trophy tonight and Columbia champions after 2 decades.
It would be nice to Argentina to win and go back 2 back 2 back champions as Spain did back in 2008-2012 but this is just to good to happen and most of the times this tends to remain only an "what if" situation so I'm slowing shifting towards Columbia to win with each minute passing by.
