Actually judging a coach the first impression is not going to be a good idea. We have all seen what de Rossi has done with Roma. He was speaking in an incredible result at first. but after A few matches the performance from Roma got pretty average.
But the problem is that Vincent Kompany led Burnley to the relegation zone last season and even though he also led Burnley to promotion to the EPL in the same season, he should not have sent his former team back to struggle from the bottom. On the other hand, he doesn't have much experience in handling a big team like Bayern Munich and this is the basis for my assessment.
Talking about De Rossi, he managed Roma before but failed. However, after that, if I'm not mistaken, he stepped aside from coaching any club and after that he was appointed again as Roma coach. From my point of view, during that time when he was not working he must have fully learned to develop new strategies and when he became Roma coach he was ready for the challenge. So here the difference is quite clear and Vincent Kompany has to prove that he is as capable as De Rossi or other coaches if he doesn't want to be labeled as a minor.
