The previous bad relationship between Kimmich and Tuchel was the main reason for Kimmich current difficult situation, when Tuchel was still coaching Bayern Muchen, Kimmich had asked management to sell him but instead this condition continues to this day where there is no clarity about Kimmich future in Munich, whether he will stay or whether he still wants to leave even though Tuchel is no longer coaching Munich, currently there are several teams who really want to recruit Kimmich from Munich considering that so far his performance has been quite consistent with Munich, Kimmich is one of Germany best defensive midfielders, and make he is a realistic target for the big European teams at the moment, Liverpool, Manchester City, Barcelona, Arsenal and PSG are the teams currently competing fiercely to get Kimmich signature, so Munich should be able to make it clear about what Kimmich wants at this time, because so far Kimmich still does not want to extend his contract in munchen which will expire in 2025.
