Casinos existed without the need for KYC's until the government made it a requirement, and they started demanding it. IMO If the government no longer requires casinos to do KYC verification for new gamblers, casinos will go ahead and still do KYC verifications because they have seen the benefits of knowing their customers better than when they just allowed people to come onto their platform and gamble without their knowledge of who they were. What do you think? Do you think some casino's will revert back to non-KYC and allow money launderers, plus other fraudulent people have their easy way with them as a way to attract customers, or since they recognize the personal benefits of KYC to their casino, will continue demanding it even if it affects their customers?
I'm always against KYC because I don't like having to share my data with an organization in another country. Exchanges are often hacked, and then not only the deposits of ordinary cryptans are stolen, but also data. After which this data often begins to be sold in databases on Dark Net.
And this increases the chance that someone will be hacked or their relatives will receive a fake letter.
Even if we against on it still there's nothing we can do with their implementation made especially if this one demanded by government. If we don't like to submit this requirements to any online platform then I guess the only thing we can do is to quit and never use them again.
But since majority of us want to continue and just accept the fact that this requirement would became normal due to regulation made by government then the only thing we could do to avoid gaining more bigger risk is to choose the most reputable platform among them all so we can possibly escape any potential issues that might happen in future. Those consequences might really happen but at least right now we need to prepare for something worse especially if usually we deal multiple things or activities online.
