You'll be shocked when you find out that people had to pass through metal detectors and were not allowed to carry guns inside the event.
Nope. Open carry does NOT mean everywhere. It means you can be armed
as long as folks in charge of the location do not restrict it eg schools, sports events, rallies, airports, etc.
We need the Supreme Court to fix this ASAP. It's obvious that if the attendees had at least two AR-15s each then this event would have been 100% safe.
Ironically, there will be people from certain political side who will believe the solution to avoid what happened in that rally was to have more people with guns who could have stopped the shooter from firing so many rounds in the direction of the crowd and Trump.
Perhaps it is a weird thing of mine, but I believe in a shooter situation, in which people do not know where the bullets are coming from, anyone holding a gun would be instantly in danger of friendly fire from police officers and other good guys with guns who could not correctly identify who the threat is.
Still, this happening looks like very amateur fail by Secret service, in my opinion.
