Staking of bitcoin address is used to let people know that an address belongs to you as you are able to sign a message using the address private key.
What are needed are your bitcoin address, your message (let us has today's date). Then click on sign to let the wallet generate the signature for you.
You can use Electrum, Bluewallet, Sparrow...
