When I studied chemistry in college, my professor said in no uncertain terms that the way the average person uses the word
entropy has little to do with how it was originally defined by Rudolph J.C.E. Clausius. In other words, entropy doesn't just mean disorder, and all the calculus used to calculate entropy in the thermodynamic sense wouldn't apply when it comes to economics or anything to do with human behavior.
