Real Madrid is a team with a very large player pool. Kroos' departure will not have a shaking effect on the team. I'm sure Ancelotti has many alternatives in mind instead of Kroos. Kroos moved away from football at a somewhat early age. I think he could have played top-level football for 2 more years. Still, it's his choice and we should respect it. Real Madrid needs a quality midfielder for now. Let's see who will do this next year.
Kroos's departure from the Madrid club is a news that every madrista would recieve with some mixed feelings since many of the fans did not expect it coming. More than that was the way he put out the information at his podcast show. This decision will leave him with much nostalgic moments having spent a decade playing for the white club is a big deal honestly. Both the club president Perez, his players, the Madrid fans and the entire Madrid club management will miss definitely miss Kroos including Ancelotti. As to whether the club can survive without him, the squad depth of the Madrid team is well built consisting of players from diverse backgrounds and talents both at the first 11 and their alternative squad.
