You are right here, throughout the past three seasons we have seen good performances from Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City fighting to finish first in the English premier league and Manchester City has been the victorious one. This new season I still have much expectation from Liverpool and Arsenal to seize the opportunity and take the title from Manchester City.
It would not be fun anymore since only one team has been on top for the past three years without even a break of at least one year. My favorite pick for the upcoming season remains Arsenal. They have played so well for two seasons and they deserve a trophy.
I have my doubts about Liverpool because a change of manager can have a significant impact on the team, so there are doubts there. But Arteta can try to achieve his goal of winning the Premier League, Arsenal spent the last season very well, according to statistical indicators they were the best in the league and they lacked just a little. For me, Arsenal is still City's most real competitor, which has a chance to take away their title and break their dominance in the Premier League.
I agree with you on this, sometimes it takes time for a football club to adapt to a new coaching style of a new manager, I think Liverpool may find it very difficult to scale through next season, although we know them to be a good team, however, lets see how events unfold now that a new manager is fully in charge of the team, as for arteta, i think he is a good manager, his team performance last season was good despite that they were unable to win the trophy, Arsenal will have to figure out how to maintian their lead once they are toping the league table in other to win the English premiweship title, although we can't dispute the fact that as far as the English premier League is concern, Arsenal remains one of the major contenders in the league but in as much as we don't know who will lift the trophy next season, I still beleive that Manchester city is the best team in the English premier League and can still win the trophy again this time unless arsenal will have to prove that fact otherwise next season.
