Last season became the worst season in Manchester United history even though they managed to win the FA Cup and save their face from missing played on the Europa League, but it is not something impressive and worthy of pride for Manchester United fans today, although Ten Hag continues to receive pressure to withdraw from previous Manchester United fans but now the management still entrusts Ten Hag as a coach to restore their glory next seasons.
Playing in the Europa League is not a competition that Manchester United have been unfamiliar with in the last 10 seasons, so it doesn't seem like we should underestimate them so quickly at the moment, Ten Hag is currently focused on improving the squad they have so it will be difficult for us to rule them out as favorites next season in the Europa League title race.
I would say finishing sixth and not getting any cup neither would be worse, for the past two years they got two cups, finished third once and was in UCL this season. I understand that it may not look good how they finished the league and that's understandable, there is nothing wrong with that and if people are feeling like that's a bad one then that's a bad one.
Fans however, feels like it is not going to be all that important, we need to make sure that it is not really that crazy changes, if you try to overhaul a whole team just because of one bad season, then you are not going to get anything that will change much, it should not be considered at all. I believe that we should see slow and gradual good improvements on the team, if they can do that then they are going to get a good result, that seems like the most important part.
If we could somehow manage to do that, then we are going to end up with a United that team gradually becomes better as well, and results will follow. But if they keep trying to fix the team by throwing money at the problem, then we are not going to get anything good out of it, results will be lackluster. They tried that once, and we have seen how the result turned out.
