I don't understand where theymos comes into this and am against the suggestion of calling him names in an attempt to shame him.
I was merely naming a forum member who would be considered as influential, yet I doubt that even if he were participating in pushups that his remarks about pushups would resolve members of their own responsibilities in regards to whether and/or how to do their pushups if they still were to choose to do them.

Consequences as earlier stated is inevitable once the body is incapable of the stress and the person will be left alone to face such risk.
Frequently, I have proclaimed that I do many of my pushup sets to failure, so guys can interpret "failure" however they like, and we are each responsible for our own judgments regarding how much is enough and/or how much is too much... or variations of such.
