Yesterday we saw the announcement of a contract extension for Luka Modric and today Real Madrid made another announcement for one of their players who received a similar contract, namely Lucas Vasquez. He will still be in Ancelotti's plans for next season and as a back-up to Dani Carvajal it seems he is the only one suited to do so.
Both Luka Modric and Lucas Vasquez have both received contract extensions for another year or more precisely, ending in 2025 and their adventure will continue to bring Real Madrid to win the title.
Ancelotti plan to extend Vasquez and Modric contracts is to maintain stability while carrying out a regeneration process from senior players to young players. Lucas Vasquez if we all can remember played a huge role in Real Madrid's successful campaign last season but I was thinking he was going to leave the club at the end of the season but Carlo Ancelotti has decided to further extend his contract to one more season so the new players in the club can learn more from him as well as Luka Modric. With Ancelotti's approach, the team will not suffer any setback when these veteran top players will finally leave the club.
