Does wager done before the introduction of this new VIP format will be counted or everyone needs to start fresh again?

I have wager from the past weeks and it is registered in the system and I have x amount left to get to the next level.
So the previous wager does definitely count.
The actual launch of the Elite Seat VIP Program was way earlier, but the announcement was made around one week later.
At least in my case, I am missing some wager, but it is a small amount.
