I never felt like quitting futures or trading in general as I would never do something like that or think about doing something like that but surely in my early trading years I made some good losses by going with high leverage trades.

I would say that if someone wants to trade in futures market then he/she should avoid leveraging at any cost and trade with 1x leverage to be safe. I know sometimes when someone shorts an assets that's pumping too hard can still lose money but if someone is doing it on top crypto coins then there's no such risk.

I still do futures trading but most of the times I prefer spot trading because that's the safest place for traders. However, if someone still wants to do futures trading then he/she should avoid high leverages at any cost.
