This is often the case where a gambler has more money in gambling he doesn't mind losing a few big bets but when he loses a large part of money he starts to realize that he has lost some money which will be difficult to recover at that time. But unfortunately at that point the gambler can't try and get back to that earlier position. This kind of thing happens to me as well. When I increase my bankroll my losses won't have any effect but when the losses are high I try or think to myself that I will take a break if I get a big win or recover my lost money but It is difficult to get back into that position.
Taking a break is just the best thing to do in times when you suffer huge losess, coming back shouldn't be with a mind of wanting to recover or regain all that have been lost because you may literally end up loosing more since your mind is just focused on that almoe and trying to get recovery. What you should be aiming at in the moment should be your money you are staking at that time and how well it sits with your bank roll such that you will still have the privilege to still place a bet against after that just in case you loose in that bet.  Then another thing is of you get a big loss and later you attempted recovering it d you succeeded, make sure to not continue rather take a break for the day and maybe continue the following day.
