I just came here to post on here after just losing money on a futures trade lmao, futures can be hard when you don't really know what you are doing. naive me went for a high leverage instead of just 2x. screw all these useless events events exchanges do, they should genuinely have an event for foolish traders that lose their money. Even if they don't give me my money back they should give me half lmaoooo, I promise I won't do futures anymore.
It can be because we believe that Futures trading is more risky than spot trading, and it is stuck in our minds that we need more luck than strategies. But I see no difference from spot trading if we don't know, the results are the same (more on losing). So what we are going to do in order to change it is to enhance our knowledge and skills. If we feel that we are not good at Futures trading, we can choose spot trading instead. Choosing the area where we are not capable certainly lies in luck, which is not the winning piece in trading.
Have you guys ever felt like quitting futures or just trading in general?
Yeah, and I did, but I came back full of knowledge. What I did when I quit was study trading more and make some discoveries. Then I become certain of my goal, and I see how it affects my journey.
