There must be a reason why Bayern Munich management chose Vincent Kompany among other coaches which I think we have started seeing through his signing of young players. Maybe if the job is given to an old manager as people were expecting, they will only focus on spending money on world class players that will not perform more than five years before retirement just because they are stars in their team; but Kompany looks like a coach with ambition for young players and if we look at the pattern of the football in this generation, young players are now leading football while older players are given them way by moving to Saudi Arabian Leagies just to earn money and retire there.
One of the significant reasons for their decision was Guardiola's recommendation, in fact, Guardiola has always had a very good opinion of Kompany, so I see no reason why he could say anything bad about him. Kompany had the opportunity to study with Guardiola for a long time, he knows all the training processes, knows his strategies, so the choice of Bayern has logic, but in any case they made the decision, since no one else can be responsible for their decision.
