Arsenal haven’t been active so far since the start of the transfer market and I’m sure it must have raised some eyebrows. I think I’ve seen this pattern over the years. I’m more calm than anything else regarding Arsenal’s transfers tbh. With the way they competed in the 2nd half of last season, the reintegration of Gabriel Jesus and Timber is cause for hope. Even two signings of the right quality in the right positions will take them to the next level. They’ll be good. They just need one or two uplifting signings. Hopefully, they'll be the right ones.
I’m sure that a lot of activities will take place in the latter part of the window, it's who blinks first for now.
Arsenal is making effort in the transfer Market, they are showing interest in signing some players, but you know Arsenal when it comes to money, they will be feeling that the players didn’t worth the amount tag on them which at the end some teams will just hijack the player because of money.
That's what I called it a smart transfer. It means Arteta really understands not to overvalue players. I remind you of Mudryk's case. Arsenal wanted him, but Chelsea hijacked him. They gave Shakhtar Donetsk more money. But, it's not going well for Chelsea, right?
There's no need to push to get the player at a expensive price. This is because many worthy players are available. Let other team hijack them for money.
I'd like Arsenal to keep to do a smart transfer instead of doing a blind recruitment. It can give a bad impact on the performance from the club.
they are also in need of a reliable striker that can score above 20 goals per season because lack of reliable striker also affected their performance last season.
I was reading a few hours ago that Arsenal agreed to pay Viktor Gyökeres £86 million. It feels too expensive for me, but this is what Arteta needs for his club. A reliable striker with stable performance. It's hard to make 20 goals in a season. But, I still hope Viktor Gyökeres will deliver on his time at Arsenal 'IF' this news is real.
Let's see whether all of Arteta's plans are going very well in the upcoming season, which is going to come August.
