I thought this was just a joke but it looks like it's real. I can't stop thinking that there are ways for Blaugrana fans to unite their solidarity and even have to make donations so that Barcelona can sign Nico Williams. I think this attitude should be appreciated and at least their intention is to help their favorite team gain respect.
We know that Barcelona is still having financial problems if they want to bring in players at large costs and this support from fans certainly means a lot to them. Barcelona have to open their eyes if their fans really care and maybe if a deal with Nico Williams happens, I hope that although they can do it with an installment fee agreement I think it doesn't matter as long as they can pay it off later to Bilbao.
On the one hand, I am happy to see the loyalty shown by the supporters to help the team financially, but on the other hand, I see it is quite sad how a team as big as them has to receive donations like that. This is like a slap to Barcelona's management which is the cause of Barcelona's financial collapse. They must realize their past mistakes and give something back to their supporters who have been willing to put aside money to help them.
However, the disappointment will be multiplied when they donate to help the team, but the team does not give back. The reciprocity in question is not money or anything like that, but Barcelona has to pay with their excellent performance. This is a task that must be truly carried out by management, coaches or players. They must show that every support provided by supporters will be something better for them.
