Teenage gambling is something I’m so pissed about haven’t seen a few first hand and the resentment I express towards it but, I don’t think it deserves a page in the curriculum. Perhaps it could be taught under some addictive habits that could be impacting but, gambling can actually go without alcohol and the vices that it’s been linked with.
Teen gambling is getting very broad and it needs to be taught on its own because the numbers are increasing every day and if it does not get treated with urgency, we might lose all our teens to addiction and it does not stop there because gambling addiction is a tool to other addiction. Teenagers are spending too many hours online and this is a cause for concern. We do not have many productive youths anymore as they are busy gambling trying to make money to live lavishly or selling their body online for clicks. While this is seen as normal for some countries, it is impacting other countries that use to have morals and lived a God fearing life. Most casino do not care about addictions because they are getting profits from their customers that are addicted but all casino should do things to help this problem. More restrictions should be introduced on casino platform to avoid underage gambling to happen.
