Paris Saint-Germain are ready to advance in talks with Benfica for João Neves after player’s green light.
João wants the move, PSG believe they are ahead of Premier League clubs; talks taking place with Benfica.
No club-to-club agreement yet but negotiations continue.

As expected from Benfica, they always get a player cheaply, make him a good player and sell him for a very high price and make high profits, even when Benfica doesn't become champion, they make high profits from player sales, in this case if they wanted to sell João Neves for an approximate amount of €100 million. but they realized that it was exaggerated and PSG is willing to erase €60 million and will also pay €10 million in bonuses for goals. This is a very good deal for Benfica.
Though the real issue these days is that players' prices are inflated anyway. It means if you sell a player for 100 million, it doesn't mean you can instantly buy one of the best players in the world with those 100 million. Availability is an issue and competition in the market is an issue. As soon as it becomes known that one club is willing to pay 100 million, several other clubs will most likely join the party and look closer at that player. The whole market is inflated and that is why these big sums at first look enticing, but whether you can really solve problems with that money down the road is another question.
