if you're a HODLer you should actually have a good understanding of the basic technical side of Bitcoin. It helps not to panic because you know Bitcoin has massive potential value, although sometimes there might be some anxiety. We are still humans.
As for long-term Bitcoin holders, I don't expect them to be panicking about the price of Bitcoin after they have understood the basics of Bitcoin. The easiest way to accumulate Bitcoin without much worry about the price is by using the DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging) method, which involves buying on a regular basis.
