Predictably, Madrid may have quality players and have proven this season. They have many star players with predictably guaranteed quality.
But you have to remember Leverkusen in Germany. The beginning of their season was without a prediction of a champion. They are without many star-quality players. But Xabi was able to change the prediction. They can perform well and win. Barcelona may be able to imitate Xabi. With a fairly difficult financial condition, it is the best option. It may be different, but there are always surprises that cannot be predicted precisely in football.
With Madrid and Barcelona it's totally a different ball game and two different leagues apart so I don't believe that a complete comparison can be made looking at these teams. The circumstancess surrounding Barcelona is such that Leverkusen never had last season so their psychology and their balance to an extent was in check enabling them to be focused enough to pull such surprise in the bundesliga. In the case of Barcelona, they have got a whole lot to really tackle which is challenging to then meanwhile Madrid is in their best of form that they can say that Barcelona doesn't pose a threat to them and it will be considered factual considering almost every factor on ground.
