That is an inseparable part of football, that every team has its own problems, it's just a matter of how they try to get out of bad situations and learn not to make the same mistakes again in the future. Barcelona needs time to recover, build a different system by relying more on young players, one of which is utilizing the La Masia academy. Real Madrid is very lucky because they have good management, they are often successful when recruiting players, whereas in the last few seasons Barcelona investments have often failed. What we hope is that the competition for trophies will be fierce, we long for the atmosphere of El Clasico like the Ronaldo-Messi era to be realized again in the future.
Of course, Barcelona will try to fix all their problems completely, so they really need time and hard work.
The generation of Barcelona players so far has changed and their transfer approach is not as grandiose as in previous seasons. There are no expensive players in the squad, there are only young players from the academy, loan players and players brought in as free agents. But I really believe that Barcelona's current young generation will get better from season to season until they will become a strong team again in La Liga and European competition.
Hansi Flick will clearly try to maximize all the potential of his players to compete with Real Madrid. The championship title will certainly be expected as basic motivation for the squad, but I would not be very surprised if in the 2024-2025 season Barcelona also fails to win the La Liga title. Currently only Real Madrid really has a magnificent squad depth, not Barcelona and other teams.
