Indeed, Laporta has saved Barcelona from debt before, but it still surprises people with Barcelona's current finances. They want the team to rise quickly and be strong, but have difficulty bringing in good players, so the supporters take the initiative to raise funds to buy players. Of course this is very embarrassing for a big team like Barcelona.

There is always a classic reason, Barcelona wants to be a strong club with players from La Masia, and does not want to recruit expensive players. This is very strange, without good players only relying on La Masia players, Barcelona will have difficulty competing next season. If Barcelona wants to compete with Real Madrid next season, Barcelona must recruit Dani Olmo and Nico William. Because if you only rely on Lamine Yamal alone it won't have a big impact on Barcelona.
Yes, it's a bit embarrassing if a team as big as Barcelona is helped by its supporters to buy players. Because as we know, before Barcelona experienced financial difficulties like now, Barcelona was a truly great team in every way. Both in terms of finances, players, coaches, and management/team within it. However, currently Barcelona has completely turned 90 degrees, to the point that its supporters are raising funds to help Barcelona recruit players. To be honest, this is the first time I personally have seen a phenomenon like this in a football club. So the point is, Laporta really has to fix this immediately, because if it continues like this, Barcelona could be completely destroyed.
The reason is that currently Barcelona reportedly has a debt of 3 billion Euros. This was expressed by Marc Ciria as a former money advisor in Barcelona.

So if you look at it, it looks like Barcelona's plan to bring in Nico William will not be realized. The reason is, the current conditions experienced by Barcelona make it impossible to recruit expensive players like Nico. So in my personal opinion, Barcelona is better off playing with the players they currently have. Even though their competitiveness is certainly far from optimal, this is better than Barcelona having to borrow more money to buy Nico William. Moreover, if Barcelona wants to recruit Dani Olmo, in my opinion this is quite impossible to become a reality.
