Kids today only need cash or crypto to join. Its hard to keep them away. They're smart and will risk behind our backs. Education is the greatest approach, not harsh bans. We need to get down with these kids and discuss gambling's pros and cons. They must understand the stakes, literally and symbolically, not just be told. Show them the thrills and dangers. If they can understand it, they may reduce their gambling on their own, which is great. We cant stop them, but by being upfront and educating them, we can help them make better choices. Support, understanding, and guidance (not control) are key. We can guide them through temptations that way
I was discussing with a friend about this issue and we also came to the same conclusion that it will be very difficult to keep teams away from gambling especially now that we have online crypto casinos that do not ask for KYC. They are so aware of things now and can do most of these things in secrete without even the parents knowing. Even parents do buy their kids smart phones but not all of them are able to monitor what the kids do with the phone so how will it be possible to control their gambling when they have all the information they need on social media.
Though, Keeping in ming most crypto casinos ask for full KYC when comes to withdrawing, it would be a fairly strong way to prevent teens from partaking in gambling, they can join and deposit money in their casino accounts, but they would not be able to withdraw anything they happened to win by chance, right? as long as they realize that, they could stop getting into crypto casinos.
Though, if we are realistic, there will be always a small and shady enough casino which would not care about KYC.
If we talk about cash,.then it is obvious it would become more difficult to control. Nothing stops a group of teens with cash on their hands from gambling their parents money away and not getting caught.
