PIXFI, a popular game on the TON sidechain, has seen a surprising downturn since its airdrop, raising questions about future airdrops in the TON ecosystem. Despite the initial hype, PIXFI’s performance has been below expectations, sparking curiosity among investors and gamers alike.

PIXFI's initial airdrop aimed to distribute tokens widely and engage the community, but the token's value plummeted shortly after. While some see this as a red flag, others view it as a potential buying opportunity, especially given the game's unique features and strong community backing.

What do you think caused this unexpected shift?

I think it's because the Pixelverse team did a complex airdrop. They are also aggresively banning the TON team on X. This was causing a lot of hates toward Pixelverse. I have seen some big groups of airdrops. They constantly report about the Pixelverse in X.

The picture below shows how a member of the TON team got blocked by Pixelverse. It was completely destroying the reputation of Pixelverse.

Are you seeing it as a buying opportunity?

Im not even seeing this as a buying opportunity. Too much hate and FUD went to this project. It came after they released a complex airdrop and blocked some TON team members. Even the TON team has deleted all Pixelverse-related posts from the social channel. I'd rather avoid taking a falling knife, then go to buy a better token in the market than Pixfi token.

Thanks for the updates on the situation! It's really unfortunate that they treat their community like that. Overall, yeah, after the facts given, it's becoming more clear not to get into the project, however, things can change, as it works both ways (some good projects can have bad airdrops/events (Chain-game, for example), and then climb up on top nevertheless, or vise versa).
