Beating Liverpool and City is amazing, but who hasn't United defeated in their history? This is their mainstay, not Ten Hag's feat. He only won the League Cup and FA Cup in two seasons. For a club like United, that's not exactly groundbreaking
All this "building a foundation" talk? Please relax. United's issues go beyond a few dismal seasons. Ten Hag organises them, but does that matter? They were messy before he arrived. Their performance is now average. Three finals in two seasons is fantastic, but silverware matters more, and a League Cup and FA Cup won't do
If Ten Hag can develop a Premier League-challenging squad, we can talk about "embers" and "resurgence." Until then, it's just a slow burn to...more mediocrity
Winning cups and defeating big clubs all part of their business because we all know they are having impressive history and many achievements, but things have never been comfortable for them because they are also having history of many problems and mess-ups as well which are also part of them into their history.
Even they are having good things but still Manchester United has never been easy place to live peacefully for any player or coach because they are part of many controversies and other things which give them headache for long time currently they are doing their best for having good results in coming season which is surely not easy but still they are able to do things which are possible for them.
No doubt this is important question can he build a well-organized club for the future as consistency is important for them.
If we consider the results that Manchester United got in their second season with Erik ten Hag, even though they experienced a decline from the first season. But in reality, they still managed to compete at least in the middle of the standings, and they still managed to get trophies even though they played against a strong team like Manchester City. Thus, I personally still quite confident that Erik ten Hag is still able to keep Manchester United stable in the middle of the standings to the top of the standings.
But to be able to win the trophy, to be honest I would still doubt it. Because after all, a team like Arsenal, which has been in competition for the title for the past two seasons,is still finding it difficult to win a trophy. Therefore, if we consider Manchester United over the last two seasons, I think Mancester United will still find it difficult if they want to get the Premier League trophy.
