You are all set if you are keeping your computer up and online 24/7, but for your security I would consider using separate computer for running bitcoin node and not your everyday computer.
This can be done with any old laptop, raspberry pi, or with any other small computer device that has low power settings, and it's better to do it on open source Linux OS.
