You correctly noted that a hobby is something that means doing it every day, and gambling is very dangerous if you do it constantly. It's just that gambling is not a harmless hobby like painting or collecting coins.
On the contrary, this is something that can make your pockets empty, and you can also very much regret that you spent time on this matter.
However, if you gamble every couple of weeks, I don’t think it will be harmful.  The main thing is not to do this constantly, because habits are formed precisely because of consistency.
Actually in this case I don't really agree if pegging a hobby is only based on what is done every day.
For example here I have a hobby of playing soccer and swimming but on the other hand I don't do this every day because I realize that it will not have a good impact on my body so I do it at least once a week and it can still be said to be a hobby. Likewise in gambling because in the end when we do it even though not in the vulnerable time every day then actually if it is said to be a hobby then I think it will not be a problem. Indeed, in this case it seems imposing when saying gambling as a hobby because after all it is like a classic excuse to cover up the problem of addiction that occurs but in the end the truth is that as long as we are still gambling regardless of whether it is said to be a hobby or not addiction will still occur because gambling provides its own stimulus for us to do it when we have more money even though with some restrictions it will still have an impact that will be felt for ourselves even though we don't want to admit that it is a form of addiction because it is considered mild for ourselves.
